C. B. Talley, LC (Limited Liability Corporation) is a real estate appraisal firm involved in all aspects of real estate appraisal, including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Land and Eminent Domain. The firm is one of the largest appraisal firms in the state. The firm also has experience in Rights of Way Appraising, Review Appraising, Property Title Abstracting, Property Acquisition, Rights of Way Acquisition and Property Leasing & Management. C. B. Talley obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1975 with a post graduate concentrated area of study in Real Estate Appraisal. He obtained his Louisiana real estate sales license in 1977; began abstracting property titles in 1978 and began a real estate appraisal firm in 1986. C. B. Talley is a General Appraiser and is approved for all types of appraisals. C. B. Talley is approved by FHA, VA, USDA, and Rural Development; the firm is approved by virtually all local mortgage and bank appraisal panels, as well as most national lenders and relocation companies. C. B. Talley is a Certified General Appraiser and has also been Certified as a Professional Landman, by the American Association of Professional Landmen. He is currently the State Director for National Association of the Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA), as well as the Lafayette Chapter President. C. B. Talley holds the IFA, IFAS and Certifed Appraisal Reviewer (CAR) designations, bestowed by National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA). He is also a certified instructor for the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), as well as the NAIFA. The NAIFA and the ASA are two of the eight founding sponsors of the Appraisal Foundation. The Appraisal Foundation is authorized by Congress as the Source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications. |
